The challenge is open to teams with robotics expertise. Your team should have skills to develop a fullstack robot, covering hardware, software, and mechanical aspects.

You need to build a low-cost wheeled robot that can autonomously navigate through facilities, open doors, move over different surfaces without slipping, and handle small obstacles like 1-inch steps.

The prize pool is worth up to $100,000 USD, along with performance-based stipends per team member, project funding, and potential placement offers with Open Droids.

The duration of the challenge varies based on the project and team requirements. We customize the timeline to ensure teams have adequate time to design, build, and demonstrate their robots effectively.

The process consists of four steps: Pre-Qualification (submitting your portfolio), Pitch (presenting your design concept), Detailed Design submission, and final funding to build your robot.

Selected teams will receive funding to build their robots, along with stipends for team members.

The challenge can be participated in remotely, though there may be requirements for in-person demonstrations at later stages.
